Split Dreams VW Campervan Hire website goes live!

Love at first sight.

Dressed to impress and oozing “cool” yep, I’m not ashamed to admit Cecil was my kind of guy! As I stood, wide-eyed and open mouthed, I realised that this was one of those chance encounters that just doesn’t happen everyday and, in the heat of the moment, as my mind tried to compute the situation, my legs took over and hurtled me towards him. My mind raced, desperately trying to verbalise… anything… and as I drew near the only words I could burst out of my mouth were “SWEET VAN!”

Cecil is one hot Splitty! Originally crafted in the 1960’s, this particular VW Split Screen Campervan, in his electrifying green and yellow livery, is the result of unimaginable dedication, love and hard graft – a true masterpiece! So when Split Dreams founders and owners, Tracey and Richard Taylor rolled into town I just had to talk to them. After learning of their plans for a campervan hire business, one thing inevitably lead to another and here we are… The Neon Hive is very proud to announce the launch of the all-new Split Dreams website!

The brief was to create a simple brochure site that was as slick and cool as Cecil (no mean feat I can assure you!) and, most importantly, was super easy to manage and update. Judging by the fact that I, the human version of a big red self destruct button when it comes to anything technical, was able to handover back office control to Tracey in the space of 15 minutes over a cuppa, I do believe we have completed our objective. The site is run on a simplified Joomla platform and allows quick and simple site management via an intuitive user interface, allowing Tracey and Richard the freedom to make changes on their terms, as and when they need to.

All that remains to be said is: please be sure to stop by and say hello to our friends at Split Dreams, they’d like that!

You can even follow the Split Dreams adventures on Twitter if you’d rather tweet!
