Artisanal filler text for your site or project. Do you need some text for your website or whatever? *sigh* Okay…
The invention of online ispum lorem text generators for graphic designers was revolutionary. In fact, I can’t even remember what we did prior – did we rely on copy and pasting from Microsoft Word?! Eugh, no wonder that has been wiped from my memory!
Super quick manual conversion from GBP to Euro.
Pretty deep in some hefty Magento ecommerce development so apologies for the lack of geek tutorials of late. But here’s something that has come in pretty useful for a couple of projects recently and figured I’d share and save a fellow custom coder some precious time!
Part of the ongoing Puma by Alexander McQueen collab and minty fresh for AW11, the ‘Cloud Dancer’ Eagle Print reinterprets the classic baseball style…
Aaaaand I’m hella smitten. Available in a distressed, off-white leather these hi-tops feature a biro blue scribble print eagle illustration on the heel. Somewhere that fashion house meets street artist in a none too brash style.
StolenSpace is proud to present “Out of Stock”, a skatepark exhibition based around one of London’s skate meccas, Stockwell.
Brixton was home to our studio for 3 debaucherous years so we’re stoked to see one of our regular old haunts and its locals getting some serious attention, the notorious Stockwell Skatepark in SW London. Rad.
The Helmholtz Resonators recently released their Double A with remixes of their underground classics ‘Bombs!’ by the acid house kings, Medicine 8, and the awesome ‘Gypsy’ by Nu Chicago sensation, Kurtis Hardrive.
We’ve been pulling a few all-nighters in the studio lately and have got it down to a fine art thanks to a few basic ingredients: adrenaline, caffeine and music. It’s true, as a combined cocktail, these 3 things are officially all you need to combat sleep deprivation.
OMFG. Christmas wishlists are upon us already!
While partaking in the typical Monday morning procrastination (e.g. write action lists, drink coffee, flick through design mags, emails, blog subscriptions, familiarise self with week ahead’s schedule, panic, drink more coffee, etc.), a tweet from Furcoat distracted me further… she is a terrible (in a good way) influence! Anyways, it spurred me to check out Matches Fashion. Lethal.
This week has been a resounding Super Suck Fest what with the mindless riots inflicted upon our beloved London hometown and our northerly friends in Manchester but it’s also been a sad week in art/toyland.
We bid a fond farewell to our fellow fluorescent art collective, Neon Monster. Last weekend the doors of their beautiful San Francisco store opened and then closed for the last time and this coming weekend they will be closing their digital doors too.
Just a little Monday morning design humour to cheer you through the weekend blues and into the working week.
A designer’s sense of humour is typically dry, very dry. Call it a vocational side effect or, more simply, a basic survival skill but either way – the wryness gets us through the working week of not so atypical conversations on the subject of speculative work. Brooklyn based letterer and graphic designer, Jessica Hische, oh talented lady of the Daily Drop Cap has yet again entertained and inspired us with her Should I Work For Free? Flowchart.
Sarah Cawood: broadcaster, voice over artist, blogger, tipster, entrepreneur and chutney maker launches her all new official website.
Apologies for the blogging hiatus of late, as you will see over the coming weeks the studio has been busier than ever before (aces!) and we’re mighty proud to be able to unveil one of the super rad projects that has been keeping us entertained, literally. Introducing… the all new, all singing, all sexy – The Official Website of Sarah Cawood.
