Goodbye, dear fluoro friends…

This week has been a resounding Super Suck Fest what with the mindless riots inflicted upon our beloved London hometown and our northerly friends in Manchester but it’s also been a sad week in art/toyland.
We bid a fond farewell to our fellow fluorescent art collective, Neon Monster. Last weekend the doors of their beautiful San Francisco store opened and then closed for the last time and this coming weekend they will be closing their digital doors too.
The Reign of Pink

StolenSpace is proud to present the premier London solo show from renowned Californian street artist, Buff Monster.
Celebrating 10 years of the king of pink Buff Monster has created a brand new body of work expanding on and revisiting familiar themes that he has become synonymous with. The artist, renowned for his signature candy pink bubbles, drips, ice cream sundaes, breasts and his signature kawaii winged characters (also called Buff Monsters), all of which will bring a smile to the face!
Kickstarter: Luno the Moon Rover
Support Luno the Moon Rover Space Toy Project on Kickstarter – a character-based spaceship created by Sergey Safonov.
Jeremy Brautman met Sergey Safonov working on Sergey’s virtual toy database, Rotocasted. Despite Jeremy being in California and Sergey being in Russia, they quickly became friends. Jeremy writes about toys, and Sergey makes toys that tell stories.
Neon Monster debuts Mini Psnail

Our fellow fluorescent friends over at Neon Monster debuted the latest member of their monster family at DesignerCon 2010 in Pasadena this weekend – introducing Mini Circuitous Psnail.
The addled love-child of two Woodstocking Gastropods, Circuitous Psnail is one precocious mollusc! Check-in with your psychedelic side with the 3-inch resin figures of Circuitous Psnail, an original character created by Reuben Rude and Neon Monster, sculpted and poured by Los Angeles resin guru Julie B of Pretty in Plastic.
