Branding
Brand Identity
Considered and deliberate aesthetic for your brand is vital, it’s all about creating brand experiences, not just logo design.
The logo IS your identity, an initial introduction to a company, product or service and one that you will be judged on it. Successful logo design goes beyond a monochrome or coloured mark, it will convey your message concisely, exist organically and transcend passing trends. Industries evolve continually, good brand identity will remain effective and relevant constantly.
Getting started
A well thought out brand or company name helps; consider the emotional aspect of identity – people WILL have a reaction to your branding… make sure it’s the right one!
If you’re struggling to decide or simply cannot determine the right name, don’t panic, we can help. You may also need help in creating the perfect tagline or planning the launch campaign for your brand; well, that’s all part of the branding experience with us. Consider the emotional aspect of identity; people WILL have a reaction to your branding… make sure it’s the right one!
Communication
Talk to us. Contact between client and designer is paramount. If you would prefer to talk to a designer before supplying a design brief, we’re always happy to talk it through. The better we get to know you, the better equipped we are to create a brand identity that best represents you, reflects the right image and communicates your message clearly. Designers are not gifted with psychic powers, you need to give us something to work with from the offset otherwise chances are designs put forward won’t be right and this leads to frustration and wasted efforts on both parts. Getting the best out of your designer is simple, it just requires communication.
Writing the brief
Past experience has taught us that lots of clients dread writing a design brief! This is normal, it affects the outcome. On this basis (and also in support of those above), we have created a briefing template to cover all the bits we really need to know.
Yes, there are lots of questions and some easier than others, this is not meant to serve as a survival test rather as a way for us to fully determine what you need the identity to achieve. Our clients have found this form to be a useful tool, which not only helped to focus their minds but also made them think about things they may not necessarily have considered without it.
Pricing
Each client has very individual requirements so the short answer is: the cost is variable. There is no fixed price structure per logo design or per complete brand identity.
We will always provide you with 3 price options on the quotation – low, mid range and no limits. If you have a fixed budget please ensure you specify this in your brief, we will advise what we can realistically deliver within your budget.
Please bear in mind that the budget directly impacts the amount of time a designer can allocate to research, development and design stages so the more time available, the more cohesive the outcome.
Leadtimes
Each project is individual and as such leadtimes can vary, from the very simple to the very complex, 2 weeks to 6 months. There is no quick fix.
The more time made available for the project, the better the result. Due to the organic nature of such projects it is best to build in a period of contingency – time to reflect, re-evaluate, feedback, develop and fine tune as the design goes through its natural life cycle.
Leadtimes will always be estimated upon commission. Deliver will be within the time frames we commit to and always working with the ideal deadline in mind. However, we ask that you take into account that any anticipated deadlines may change if the project becomes more complex than was originally undertaken but we will always communicate this to you ahead of time.
We offer logo design, complete brand identity, rebranding and much, much more. For more information, please contact us. From initial logo design to creating fully documented brand bibles to extend, we can help you to make your mark.
